Deacon Training
A year in four modules for those who serve: evangelism, intercession, inner healing, counselling and the apostolic profile.
The word deacon comes from the Greek diakonós and means one who serves, cares, helps and assists. It is the office in Christian churches devoted to caring for the church, for the good order of worship and for the people.
In this course you get to know every ministry of the Renascer Apostolic Church, and learn principles of counselling and inner healing, how to welcome people, the holiness required to handle offerings and the practical detail of organisational service.
Deacons were instituted in the early Church to assist the apostles in social service and in the care of lives: people tested in faith, versed in the Word and in spiritual principles.
Course objective
To develop those already serving in the basic care of the church and its people, equipping them in prayer, intercession and the discernment of spiritual, emotional and material needs.
Who this course is for
- Officers of the Renascer Apostolic Church already appointed as aspirants
- People from other denominations already serving in apostolic churches
Prerequisites
- Be 18 or older
- Be converted and baptised
- Be an aspirant or already serve in ministry
- Have completed the Structural Bible School and Aspirant Training
Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.

How classes work
Live classes once a week, two hours each, over Zoom. Each module has nine lessons and an assessment. Modules may be taken in any order as long as all content is completed.
