Privacy and data protection policy
UniRenascer’s personal data processing and protection notice, in accordance with the Brazilian data protection law (LGPD, Law 13,709/18).
In accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/18), UniRenascer reaffirms its commitment to the privacy and security of the information of its students and other users. This notice explains how personal data, and sensitive data in particular, is collected, used, stored and protected.
Collection and purpose
UniRenascer collects students’ personal data for educational, administrative and operational purposes. The data collected includes, among others: full name; identification documents; contact details (e-mail and telephone); payment details, where applicable; and educational information such as academic records and course participation.
Sensitive data
Under article 5, II of the LGPD, UniRenascer may process data regarded as sensitive, such as religious belief, racial or ethnic origin and health data, always for specific and legitimate purposes.
Such data is processed with the express consent of the data subject, or where necessary to meet legal, regulatory or contractual obligations. Whenever sensitive data is processed, appropriate security measures are applied.
Data security
UniRenascer applies technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorised access, leaks and any other improper processing, including encryption of sensitive data, restricted access limited to authorised staff, and regular monitoring and auditing of its systems.
Data is stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or until the data subject requests its deletion, as provided for in the LGPD.
Sharing
UniRenascer does not share personal data with third parties except where strictly necessary: to meet legal or regulatory obligations; to protect and defend rights in judicial or administrative proceedings; and for services provided by partners or suppliers who help deliver the courses, always in accordance with the LGPD.
Your rights
Data subjects have the right to confirm that their data is being processed; to access the data held; to correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data; to request the anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data; and to withdraw consent at any time.

UniRenascer may update this notice whenever necessary, to keep it compliant with current legislation and to improve its data protection practices.
