GAUF Minister — Addiction Support
Training to care for people with chemical and emotional dependency and their families, drawing on the experience of the GAUF support group.
Chemical dependency has ceased to be a set of isolated cases and has become a public health problem. If you have come this far, it is because you know someone close to it and want to help.
GAUF — the support group for drug users and their families — is the ministry of Renascer that cares for people with chemical and emotional dependency and their relatives, with a recovery house in São Paulo.
We believe the Church of Christ is home to those spiritually devastated and rejected by society. It must therefore be ready to set free and rehabilitate, treating emotional and spiritual disorders as well.
Course objective
To train leaders and ministers to work with dependent people and their families, with solid spiritual foundations and a practical method of care.
Who this course is for
- Leaders and ministers who want to grow in caring for dependency on drugs, alcohol and other addictions
- Leaders and ministers who want to care for co-dependents — relatives, spouses and others who live with the dependent person
Prerequisites
- Be 18 or older
- Be converted and baptised
- Work in this area, or wish to

How classes work
Eight live classes, one a week, two hours each. You join over Zoom, ask questions in real time and follow your classmates’ comments.
